Melissa Suzanne George from Australia is an Australian actress, inventor, and businesswoman. After starting her career in her native country she moved to Hollywood and has found significant success in Hollywood. George is a Perth native, who was attracted initially in skateboarding and dance. At the age of an teen, she began modeling and was named the Western Australian's teen model of the year award in 1992. She debuted on television in an Seven Network episode of the soap-opera Home and Away. The big screen debut came with Dark City, a mystery thriller. Then she played a variety of supporting roles on projects like Alias The Limey or Down with Love. In 2005, she made her first mainstream Hollywood appearance on The Amityville Horror remake. She is currently one of Hollywood's most sought-after Australian ex-pats. George is an entrepreneur who, has launched her own brand of product Style Snaps on the market.
